What We Do Collect
License Activation
When you activate your license, we collect:
- License key — to verify your purchase
- Hardware ID — a one-way hash of your computer’s hardware, used to bind your license
This data is stored securely and used only for license validation.
Purchase Information
When you purchase BuddyVox, our payment processor (Stripe/Paddle) collects:
- Email address
- Payment information
- Billing address
We receive only your email and order details — not your payment card information.
Support Communications
If you contact us for support, we keep:
- Your email address
- Content of your support request
- Our responses
This is used only to provide support and is not shared with third parties.
Data Storage and Security
License activation data is stored on secure servers in the European Union. We use industry-standard security practices to protect this data.
